The California School Employees Association (CSEA) and its Chapter 399 look forward to negotiating with the Calexico Unified School District for the 2024-25 Reopener Contract. CSEA intends to open the following articles of the Collective Bargaining Agreement during reopener negotiations:
Article X: Hours & Overtime
- CSEA proposes to increase the work year for the following classifications: Special Education Transportation Assistants, Health Technicians, and Administrative Assistants I.
- CSEA proposes to increase the work hours for the following classifications: Attendance Clerks.
- CSEA proposes to establish a release time for CSEA Chapter 399 meetings.
- CSEA proposes to amend the Overtime language.
Article XI: Salary
- CSEA proposes to amend the salary schedule and “me too” clause.
- CSEA proposes a salary increase.
- CSEA proposes to amend the bilingual stipend.
- CSEA proposes a golden handshake for the 2024-2025 school year.
- CSEA proposes to establish a yearly automatic COLA.
Article XII: Health and Welfare Benefits
- CSEA intends to review, clarify, and enhance the language, including but not limited to proposing an employer contribution increase.
Article XV: Leaves
- CSEA intends to review, clarify, and enhance the language.
- CSEA proposes to establish an emergency hour clause
CSEA reserves the right to withdraw, amend, and/or add to this proposal as necessary, in accordance with applicable sunshine laws.
